Job summary

Protocol is seeking a GCSE & Functional Skills Teacher for its Preston FE college. This is an ongoing part-time position, primarily on Mondays and Thursdays, with potential for additional hours in the future.

Ideal candidates will have FE teaching experience, specialist GCSE delivery skills, and DBS Update Service registration. A strong focus on classroom management and learner engagement is required to support learners achieving GCSE and Functional Skills qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching within a Further Education setting.
• Specialist knowledge delivering GCSE programmes.
• Experience teaching Functional Skills.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
• Strong classroom management and learner engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver GCSE and Functional Skills programmes to FE learners.
• Plan and deliver lessons on Mondays and Thursdays, with potential additional hours.
