Quantum Scholars seeks a knowledgeable Computer Science Tutor to provide tailored, one-to-one support in Wokingham, Berkshire. The role focuses on making technical concepts accessible and helping a learner build confidence, engagement and progress, with an emphasis on GCSE preparation where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science.
• Experience supporting secondary learners with SEND/SEMH.
• Experience delivering one-to-one tuition or personalised educational support.
• Confidence teaching Computer Science at GCSE level or supporting GCSE learners.

Responsibilities

• Delivering tailored, one-to-one Computer Science tuition.
• Supporting the development of knowledge and understanding across the CS curriculum.
• Teaching programming concepts, algorithms, computational thinking and problem-solving.
• Supporting GCSE CS content, revision and exam preparation where appropriate.
• Adapting teaching methods and session structures to suit the learner's needs and abilities.
• Monitoring progress and providing feedback to parents and other professionals where appropriate.
