Oliver Bernard is recruiting for a GCP Engineer in London to join a leading hedge fund. You will help design, develop and implement cloud infrastructure with a focus on low latency trading platforms.

GCP Engineer - Financial Technology - £110K+

Our client is one of the world's leading hedge funds. Through cutting edge technology and innovative trading strategies they have been at the forefront of finance and technology for over 20 years.

Their Infrastructure and Cloud DevOps team builds sophisticated, low latency platforms on which the company's trading operations are based.

GCP and cloud computing is allowing them to modernise infrastructure, automate workloads and drive next-generation innovation.

They're looking for an experienced GCP / Cloud Engineer to join them. From day one you'll be involved in the strategy, design, development, and implementation of projects in the cloud.

You'll work closely with UNIX / Linux, Network and Data Engineering teams and be able to work with a variety of technologies, including Big Query, Python and Kubernetes, Ansible and Terraform.

You'll have real ownership of your work and this a unique opportunity at a very prestigious trading firm.

Requirements:

• - Proven experience in a similar Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Engineering role
• - Great knowledge of designing, implementing and supporting GCP solutions
