Job summary

TEKsystems seeks a cloud-aware engineer to design, build, and operate scalable, secure AWS-based trading and post-trade platforms. You will work in the Reference Data domain, modernising platform architecture and enabling robust data integration across trading ecosystems.

The role emphasizes IaC, CI/CD, and close collaboration with traders and business stakeholders to deliver high-availability cloud solutions in a multi-cloud context including GCP where relevant.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3) in production environments.
• Designing and operating distributed cloud-native architectures in complex settings.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK).
• Containerisation and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Strong CI/CD, automation, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Security best practices in cloud environments (IAM, encryption, networking).
• Experience with relational databases and data integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate AWS-based cloud infrastructure for securities financing trading and post-trade platforms.
• Own end-to-end delivery lifecycle including design, deployment, monitoring, and optimization of cloud data platforms.
• Develop and maintain IaC to ensure repeatable environments.
• Enable deployment of microservices with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Implement scalable, fault-tolerant systems aligned with enterprise standards.
• Collaborate with developers, traders, and stakeholders to deliver secure, high-performance cloud solutions.
• Advance CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices across cloud environments.
• Ensure security/compliance across AWS/GCP environments.
