Job summary

Cognizant’s Intelligent Process Automation practice is seeking a Data Engineer to join a team delivering end-to-end data integration and analytics. You will develop scalable ETL solutions in GCP using Python and SQL, and contribute to DW architectures across cloud and on-premise environments.

Qualifications

Experience developing ETL solutions in GCP with Python and SQL.
Experience with SQL Server including SSIS and T-SQL.
Exposure to data warehouse development practices, code/configuration management, and build processes.
Strong understanding of enterprise data warehouse architectures and data modelling concepts.
Ability to translate business requirements into end-to-end design and estimates with team collaboration.
Experience delivering in Agile environments with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.

Responsibilities

Develop ETL solutions in GCP including Python and SQL as well as SQL Server including SSIS and T-SQL.
DW development practices (code & configuration management, build processes).
Enterprise level data warehouse architectures, data modelling concepts, and ETL/ELT best practices.
Take business requirements and work with other team members to estimate and design end-to-end solutions.
Working in Agile delivery models with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments across data platforms.
