Job summary

Thorn Baker Recruitment is seeking an experienced Gateperson / Traffic Marshal for a site in Bury. The role involves controlling the site entrance, directing deliveries and ensuring the safe movement of vehicles on and off site.

Candidates must have a valid Traffic Marshal / Banksperson ticket, CPCS or NPORS, and demonstrate reliability and punctuality to operate safely in a busy construction environment.

Qualifications

• Previous Gateperson / Traffic Marshal experience.
• Valid Traffic Marshal / Banksperson ticket.
• CSCS card preferred/required depending on site.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Able to work safely in a busy construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Control access to and from the site.
• Manage deliveries and direct vehicles.
• Sign visitors and deliveries in and out.
• Assist with traffic management around the site.
• Ensure pedestrians and vehicles are kept safely separated.
• Communicate with site management and delivery drivers.
• Keep the site entrance clean and organised.
• Carry out general labouring duties when required.
• Follow all site health and safety procedures.

We are currently looking for an experienced

Gateperson / Traffic Marshal

Position: Gateperson / Traffic Marshal

Rate:

£17 per hour CIS

Start: ASAP

Duration: ASAP

Must have CPCS OR NPORS

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the site entrance, controlling access and assisting with the safe movement of vehicles and deliveries on and off site.

Duties include:

• Controlling access to and from the site

• Signing visitors and deliveries in and out
• Assisting with traffic management around the site
• Ensuring pedestrians and vehicles are kept safely separated
• Communicating with site management and delivery drivers
• Keeping the site entrance clean and organised
• Carrying out general labouring duties when required
• Following all site health and safety procedures
