Job summary

TSR Nottingham Ltd is seeking a Traffic Marshall Gateman to manage vehicle movement on a busy construction site in the Preston PR1 area.

You will direct vehicles and plant, maintain access control, and coordinate deliveries with site operatives to ensure safe, efficient operations. A CSCS card and CPCS/NPORS certification, plus prior experience, are required for this on-site role.

Qualifications

• CSCS card is required.
• Traffic Marshall or Vehicle Banksman CPCS/NPORS certification required.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• References available on request.
• PPE provided or required.

Responsibilities

• Direct vehicles and plant equipment safely around the site.

• Ensure delivery vehicles are guided on and off-site safely.
• Coordinate movement with site operatives and delivery drivers.
• Monitor traffic flow to prevent congestion and accidents.
• Conduct basic security checks and prevent unauthorized access.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Keep gate and surrounding area hazard-free.

Job description

TSR are looking for a Traffic Marshall Gateman to start work on a busy construction site in the Preston PR1 area starting Monday 12th October.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct vehicles and plant equipment safely around the site.

• Maintain site access control, logging in/out all vehicles and visitors.

• Ensure delivery vehicles are safely guided onto and off-site.

• Communicate with site operatives and delivery drivers to coordinate movement.

• Monitor and manage the flow of traffic to prevent congestion and accidents.

• Conduct basic security checks and ensure unauthorized access is prevented.

• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

• Keep the gate and surrounding area clean and clear of hazards.

Hourly rate: £16.00ph

Must have:

• CSCS card
• Traffic Marshall or Vechicle Banksman CPCS/NPORS
• Right to Work
• Previous Traffic Marshall or Vehicle Banksman experience
• References
