Job summary

NGARE EMPLOYMENT SOLUTIONS PTY LTD is hiring a Gateman at a busy project site in Sittingbourne. You will control site access, welcome visitors and ensure only authorised personnel and vehicles enter the site, maintaining a safe and orderly entry at all times.

You will operate gates, assist with material deliveries, support site emergencies, and help with traffic marshalling and general site organisation. Weekly pay and ongoing work are offered.

Qualifications

• CSCS / GQA / NPORS CSCS-affiliated card with relevant experience.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Reliable, punctual and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Controlling entry and exit points, checking identification and verifying credentials
• Ensuring only authorised personnel and vehicles are permitted on site
• Operating gates and barriers to regulate vehicle and plant flow
• Welcoming visitors, contractors and delivery personnel professionally
• Assisting with material control – verifying delivery receipts and coordinating with suppliers
• Providing support during emergencies including directing responders and assisting with evacuation
• Confident in traffic marshalling duties as required
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation around the gate area

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a reliable and professional Gateman to control site access and support site security on a busy project in Sittingbourne. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, contractors and deliveries, maintaining a safe and organised site entry at all times.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Controlling entry and exit points, checking identification and verifying credentials
• Ensuring only authorised personnel and vehicles are permitted on site
• Operating gates and barriers to regulate vehicle and plant flow
• Welcoming visitors, contractors and delivery personnel professionally
• Assisting with material control – verifying delivery receipts and coordinating with suppliers
• Providing support during emergencies including directing responders and assisting with evacuation
• Confident in traffic marshalling duties as required
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation around the gate area

REQUIREMENTS

• CSCS / GQA / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) card with relevant experience*
• Reliable, punctual and professional manner
• Right to work in the UK

DESIRABLE

• First Aid at Work Certification
• Traffic Marshall Certification
• Storeman experience
