Job summary

NGARE EMPLOYMENT SOLUTIONS PTY LTD is seeking reliable General Labourers to support our groundwork teams on sites across Margate. You will assist tradespeople with material handling, site prep and general maintenance to keep projects on schedule.

Candidates should hold a CSCS Labourer card (or GQA Labourer) and CPCS/NPORS if CSCS-affiliated, with good time management and reliability. Right to work in the UK is required and long-term opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• CSCS Labourer card (or GQA Labourer) required or in progress.
• CPCS/NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) Forward Tipping Dumper experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of general labouring tasks on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Assisting tradespeople with material handling, site preparation and general maintenance tasks.
• Replenishing materials and maintaining clean, safe site conditions.
• Ensuring safe access routes are maintained at all times.
• Working safely around live services and following health & safety protocols.
• Carrying out daily pre-start safety checks on equipment.
• Reporting maintenance requirements to site management.

Job description

We are looking for reliable General Labourers to support our groundwork teams on sites across Margate.You will assist tradespeople across a variety of site tasks, keeping work areas safe and materials well stocked to support programme delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting tradespeople with material handling, site preparation and general maintenance tasks
• Replenishing materials and maintaining clean, safe site conditions
• Ensuring safe access routes are maintained at all times
• Working safely around live services and following health & safety protocols
• Carrying out daily pre-start safety checks on equipment
• Reporting maintenance requirements to site management

REQUIREMENTS

• CSCS Labourer card or GQA Labourer with relevant experience
• CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) Forward Tipping Dumper
• Strong understanding of general labouring tasks on construction sites
• Proactive with good time management skills
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well with other trades
• Right to work in the UK

DESIRABLE

• CPCS / NPORS* Ride-On Roller
• CAT & Genny Training
• Safety Critical Medical
• 1–2+ years of construction labouring experience
