Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd. is seeking an experienced Gateman for a busy residential housing development in Newark. You will start as soon as possible on an ongoing site assignment, ensuring smooth access control, deliveries, and safe traffic management.

The ideal candidate holds a valid CSCS card, has a solid understanding of site health & safety procedures, and communicates effectively with trades and site management. Prior residential development experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Gateman / Banksman on construction sites.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Strong understanding of site health & safety procedures.
• Good communication skills and a reliable work ethic.
• Previous experience on residential housing developments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Controlling and monitoring site access and deliveries.
• Directing vehicles and delivery drivers safely around site.
• Assisting with traffic management and pedestrian movements.
• Communicating with site management and trades.
• Maintaining a safe and organised site entrance and ensuring all site health & safety procedures are followed.
