Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd. is seeking an experienced Gateman to join a busy residential housing development in the Newark area. The role involves controlling site access, directing vehicles, and supporting traffic management on site.

Start date is ASAP and the contract is ongoing. Applicants should have a valid CSCS card, strong health & safety awareness, and good communication. Residential-experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Gateman / Banksman on construction sites.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Strong understanding of site health & safety procedures.
• Good communication skills and a reliable work ethic.
• Previous experience on residential housing developments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Controlling and monitoring site access and deliveries.
• Directing vehicles and delivery drivers safely around site.
• Assisting with traffic management and pedestrian movements.
• Communicating with site management and trades.
• Maintaining a safe and organised site entrance.
• Ensuring all site health & safety procedures are followed.
