Job summary

Securitas UK in Brough, England seeks a Gate Officer to patrol, control access, and monitor CCTV. This role requires a full UK driving licence, BPSS and SC clearance, and the stamina for long shifts.

You will work 60 hours a week, with day shifts Monday to Friday, and receive comprehensive training, a uniform, and progression opportunities. The ideal candidate is proactive, physically fit, and committed to maintaining high security standards across the site.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Licence.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SC Clearance.
• Physically fit and comfortable with significant walking throughout your shift.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and act professionally under pressure.
• Reliable, flexible and committed to maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols to maintain site security.
• Control access to the site, checking identification and issuing visitor passes.
• Monitor CCTV and security systems, responding appropriately to any concerns.
• Respond to alarms, incidents and emergencies in a calm and professional manner.
• Complete accurate incident reports and maintain security records.
• Follow site procedures and health and safety requirements at all times.
• Carry out routine security equipment and site checks.
• Provide excellent customer service to employees, contractors and visitors.
• Help maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment across the site.

Must be a driver with access to your own vehicle
