Job summary

Securitas is hiring a Gate Officer in Brough, UK. You will patrol the site, manage access control, monitor CCTV, and respond to incidents. The role requires a full UK driving licence, the ability to obtain BPSS and SC clearance, and physical fitness for long walking shifts.

You will work on 12-hour shifts with comprehensive training and uniform provided. The position emphasizes customer service, vigilance, and integrity as you help keep staff, visitors and assets safe.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols on foot and by vehicle to ensure site security.
• Control site access, verify IDs and issue visitor passes.
• Monitor CCTV and security systems, respond to concerns.
• React to alarms, incidents and emergencies calmly and professionally.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain security records.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Perform routine security equipment checks and site inspections.
• Provide excellent service to employees, contractors and visitors.

What You'll Be Doing

• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols to maintain site security.
• Control access to the site, checking identification and issuing visitor passes.
• Monitor CCTV and security systems, responding appropriately to any concerns.
• Respond to alarms, incidents and emergencies in a calm and professional manner.
• Complete accurate incident reports and maintain security records.
• Follow site procedures and health and safety requirements at all times.
• Carry out routine security equipment and site checks.
• Provide excellent customer service to employees, contractors and visitors.
• Help maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment across the site.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

• Full UK Driving Licence.

Due to the nature of this opportunity, candidates must be able to achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) Clearance
