Job summary

Anderselite is seeking experienced Gate & Barrier Engineers to join the Southeast team in the UK. The role covers commercial automatic gates, barriers, and access control systems, with responsibilities spanning installation, retrofit automation, large plug-and-play installations, fault finding, and preventative maintenance.

The successful candidate will work on civils works, excavations, ducting, and service installation, with site surveys and reading technical drawings integral to the job.

Our client is looking for experienced and driver Gate & Barrier Engineers to join its busy team in the Southeast.

The role will focus on: Commercial automatic gates, barriers, access control systems, and associated infrastructure.

Role Specification, Experience with some or all required, depending on level:

• Installation of automatic gates and barriers.
• Retrofit automation onto existing gates.
• Large plug-and-play commercial installations.
• Fault finding and reactive call-outs.
• Planned preventative maintenance.
• Civils works including excavation, ducting, concrete bases and service installation.
• Automation equipment installation.
• Access control systems when required.
• Commissioning, testing and handover.
• Reading technical drawings and site surveys.

Requirements - combinations of the below will be considered:

• CSCS Relevant to level
• Gate Safe Certified.
• DHF Automated Gate Training.
• HSG47 (Avoiding Danger from Underground Services).

Also Desirable:

• IPAF
• First Aid
• ECS/Access Control qualifications.
• SSSTS

The ideal applicants will be self-sufficient, whilst also working well in a team. You will have good industry/sector relevant experience across installation, fault finding and comissioning.
