Job summary

Searley Owen is seeking an experienced Automatic Gate & Barrier Engineer to join a growing team covering Sussex and surrounding areas. This is a regional role with door-to-door pay.

You will service and repair commercial gate and barrier systems, perform fault finding on control panels, and carry out maintenance with 1.5x overtime. Company van provided; 28 days holiday and pension.

Qualifications

• Experience with automatic gates / barriers.
• Strong electrical fault finding.
• Field service experience.
• Full UK driving licence.

Automatic Gate Engineer Sussex (Regional) £40,000 – £45,000 + Door-to-Door + 1.5x Overtime

We’re looking for an experienced Automatic Gate & Barrier Engineer to join a growing team covering Sussex and surrounding areas.

Regional role, Sussex patch. Door to Door pay. 1.5x overtime available.

We are a manufacturer, supplying commercial high speed gates across the UK. This is a service & repair role (not heavy install work), working on commercial gate and barrier systems.

Key Duties

• Service and repair of automatic gates, barriers & bollards


• Fault finding on gate automation and control panels


• Working on motors, safety edges, photocells


• Carrying out force testing and compliance checks


• Planned maintenance + reactive breakdowns

Pay, Benefits & Environment

• £40,000 – £45,000 basic
