Job summary

Austin Banks is assisting in recruiting a Gate Automation Engineer for installations across the South East. The role involves installing, servicing and maintaining automated gates and access control systems, with on-site liaison to customers and a focus on safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in gate installations, an ECS card, and strong electrical/mechanical skills, plus a full UK driving licence. Some stay-away work may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience installing gates, automation systems, and access control.
• ECS card is essential.
• DHF and GateSafe training is preferred but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Strong electrical and mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing, and maintaining automated gates and access control systems.
• Fault-finding and carrying out repairs to automation equipment.
• Delivering work to the highest standards of safety and compliance.
• Liaising with customers on-site to provide excellent service.
• Work predominately based around the South East, with occasional stay away required.
