Job summary

Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Consultant with an interest in ERCP/Hepatology and General Gastroenterology. The successful candidate will work across Calderdale Royal Hospital and Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, predominantly on one site, with cross-site endoscopy and a weekly 1:10 GI bleed on-call schedule.

The role requires GMC Specialist Registration in Gastroenterology (or near completion) and a Licence to Practise.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate a high level of clinical experience and competence in all aspects of the Gastroenterology specialty.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and current GMC registration; Licence to Practise required.

Responsibilities

• Care for inpatients on the wards at HRI and review ward referrals at CRH and outpatient duties including the new outpatient unit on the Huddersfield site.
• Cross-site endoscopy; 10 PAs with potential job share.
• Lead and work within a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated care.
