Job summary

Chesterfield Borough Council in Chesterfield is recruiting a Gas Workforce Manager to lead the gas workforce within the housing property services team. The role is permanent and full-time, 37 hours per week, based at Stonegravels Depot.

You will oversee gas repairs, servicing and compliance across the council’s housing stock, driving safe and efficient operations while developing staff within a on-site team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a gas workforce within the mechanical and electrical team, delivering gas repairs, servicing and compliance across housing stock.
• Develop, coach and performance-manage staff to ensure high standards of safety, quality and service delivery.
