Job summary

Alexander Mann Solutions - Contingency is seeking a Technical Support Engineer for a 12-month contract based in Bristol with a hybrid work model. You will lead investigations into safety alerts and incidents, prepare detailed technical reports, and work closely with structural, controls, and reliability specialists to ensure product maturity and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent engineering experience.
Understanding of gas turbine systems is advantageous.
Experience in regulated industries and product support is beneficial.
Ability to lead technical investigations and document findings clearly.

Responsibilities

Investigate, analyze, and document safety alerts, incidents, and events; lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
Prepare, review, and deliver high-quality technical reports with findings, recommendations, and regulatory/commercial alignment.
Participate in performance reviews and respond to feedback from management.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to solve complex problems and support product maturity.
