An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Safety & Reliability Engineer to join a highly specialised engineering team supporting critical defence programmes in Bristol. This is a unique opportunity for a Safety & Reliability Engineer to work across some of the most advanced aero, naval and defence gas turbine applications in service today and under development for the future.
Working within a niche team, the Safety & Reliability Engineer will be responsible for assessing, understanding and predicting how complex systems and components perform throughout their operational life, ensuring safety, reliability and maintainability remain at the forefront of engineering decision-making.
You will support a broad portfolio of programmes spanning defence aerospace and naval propulsion systems, including mature and in-service engines, legacy platforms and new applications. The work involves analysing real-world service issues, investigating failures, evaluating risk and supporting engineering teams in making informed decisions, often with incomplete information.
We are interested in candidates who have worked in Safety Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Systems Safety, Functional Safety, RAMS or related disciplines.
