Job summary

Greenray Turbine Solutions Limited is seeking a Workshop Technician to join our Overhaul & Repair team in Scotland. The role focuses on the strip, inspection and rebuild of industrial gas turbines in line with OEM drawings and company procedures, working with OEM and client specifications.

You will collaborate with Engineering and QA teams, maintain safety standards, and document work packs in our quality management system. Opportunities for technical progression exist.

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering or related field.
• ONC or equivalent; hands-on turbine experience preferred.
• Familiarity with gas turbines (GEC/Siemens SGT/Rolls-Royce) desirable.
• Good IT skills, including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Strip, inspect, and rebuild turbine components to OEM specifications.
• Maintain and sign off work packs in the quality system.
• Prepare parts for sub-contractors and manage workshop stores.
• Support health, safety and environmental standards in daily tasks.
• Participate in site visits and project meetings as required.
