Sulzer GT Aero Services in Aberdeen is seeking an experienced Field Service Project Engineer to lead the planning, mobilisation and execution of gas turbine maintenance projects at customer sites. You will develop work packs, RAMS documents and act as the technical interface between Sulzer and our clients, coordinating field service teams to ensure safe, efficient delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial gas turbines, power turbines or rotating equipment.
• Knowledge of field service environments, ideally within energy, power generation, oil & gas or related sectors.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel and support onshore and offshore projects when required.

Based in Aberdeen and operating globally, we help customers maximise reliability, performance and availability of their critical assets, both onshore and offshore. Due to an internal promotion we are looking for an experienced Project Engineer (Field Service) to join our growing team. This is a highly visible role where you'll act as the technical focal point for field service projects, supporting the planning, mobilisation, execution and close-out of gas turbine maintenance activities across customer sites. You'll regularly interface with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring projects are planned, coordinated and delivered successfully from start to finish. The position offers a high degree of autonomy and flexibility, with the opportunity to be primarily home-based and manage your own diary. However, it is not a fully remote role.
