Job summary

Kier Group in Gosport is seeking a Gas Manager to lead the Gas service across Housing Maintenance and Corporate Services. You will supervise Technicians, ensure compliance with policy and regulatory requirements, and drive safe, efficient service delivery on a daily basis.

You will manage budgets, coordinate with the Contact Centre for workflows, and conduct regular site visits to inspect work, sign off contractor tasks, and respond to issues while supporting your team’s development and

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification with Gas Safe Registration (ACS listed).
• Unvented Hot Water, energy efficiency and water regulations qualifications.
• Commercial Gas Safe qualifications (CIGA1, CODNCO1, ICPN1, JO1, TPCP1).
• Proven supervisory or management experience and budget responsibility.
• Ability to read construction drawings and apply regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct management and supervision of Technicians within policy and regulatory requirements.
• Perform quality assurance inspections and monitor KPIs/SLAs.
• Coordinate with Contact Centre to manage workflow and scheduling.
• Conduct site visits, sign off contractor work, and investigate complaints.
• Manage budgets, procure materials, and maintain supplier relationships.
