Job summary

Artisan Recruitment Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Commercial Gas & Mechanical Manager to lead the Mechanical Department from our Gosport office. You will manage engineers and subcontractors, price remedial and project works, and oversee projects from enquiry to completion.

The role demands strong commercial gas expertise, site leadership, and the ability to coordinate client meetings and surveys. Excellent progression opportunities in a growing facilities management environment await.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing commercial gas projects and multi-site installations.
• Pricing remedial and project works for mechanical services.
• Strong knowledge of commercial heating systems and plant rooms.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Commercial Gas Engineers and subcontractors.
• Plan and allocate engineers' daily workloads.
• Carry out site surveys and attend client meetings.
• Price remedial works, projects and maintenance contracts.
• Manage projects from quotation through to completion.
• Provide technical support and guidance to engineers.
• Review RAMS, certification and compliance documentation.
• Monitor project costs, labour and material expenditure.
• Order materials and liaise with suppliers.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Identify additional works and commercial opportunities.
• Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
