Job summary

Example Recruitment Group is seeking experienced self-employed Gas Service & Repair Engineers for a long-term opportunity covering the Macclesfield area. You will handle annual gas safety checks, LGSRs and central heating repairs, with 6–8 pre-booked appointments per day and the option for additional work at enhanced rates.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience as a domestic heating engineer.
• Current ACS qualifications CKR1 and HTR1.
• Current Gas Safe Registration.
• A calibrated flue gas analyser.
• A suitable panel van (plain or sign-written).
• £2 million Public Liability Insurance.
• No unspent criminal convictions.

Responsibilities

• Perform annual Gas Safety Checks and LGSRs and central heating repairs.
• Manage 6–8 pre-booked appointments per day.
• Work a minimum of 3 days per week, with up to 5 days available.
• Beneficial: optional evening call-outs and weekend work at enhanced rates.
