Job summary

Rock Recruitment is seeking a qualified Gas Service & Breakdown Oil Engineer to service, diagnose, and repair gas systems and appliances for clients. The role requires oil experience, CCN1/CENWAT/HTR1/CKR1 qualifications and a clean DBS, with a UK driving licence and PAYE permanent employment.

Salary ranges from £43,000 to £45,000 with OTE £60,000. Benefits include company van, fuel card, PDA tablet, and opportunities for overtime within a local working radius.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a similar gas engineering role within the social housing sector
• Core gas qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1; must also have oil
• Full UK driving licence
• Clean DBS clearances

Responsibilities

• Service, diagnose and repair gas systems and appliances, including boilers, heaters and cookers
• Conduct safety checks to ensure systems meet safety standards
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults and defects
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
• Maintain clear communication with clients and team
