Job summary

Rock Recruitment is seeking a qualified Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer to service, diagnose and repair gas systems for clients in the social housing sector. The role covers Newport and surrounding areas with a guaranteed local working radius.

The position requires 3+ years’ experience, CCN1/CENWAT/HTR1/CKR1 qualifications, a full UK driving license and a clean DBS. A company van, fuel card and PDA tablet are provided along with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the social housing sector.
• Full UK driving license.
• Clean DBS.

Responsibilities

• Service, diagnose, and repair gas systems and appliances, including boilers, heaters, and cookers.
• Conduct safety checks and inspections to ensure systems meet safety standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults and defects.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Maintain good communication with clients and team members.
