Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a qualified Gas Service Only Engineer to service a Social Housing contract around Sandwell. The role covers a compact 10-mile radius with minimal travel and is paid at a day rate.

You will service gas central heating, perform boiler strip-downs, fit CO₂ and fire alarms, and complete required paperwork with customer sign-off. ACS and Gas Safe registration are essential.

Qualifications

• Hold ACS certification and Gas Safe registration.
• Minimum 2 years in a similar gas service role.
• Experience working on social housing contracts is preferred.
• Must own van, tools, and have relevant insurance.
• DBS clearance is required and a valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Service gas central heating systems.
• Carry out full strip-down and clean boiler services.
• Fit CO₂ and fire alarms.
• Work independently and use your own initiative.
• Complete all required paperwork and obtain customer signatures.
