Job summary

Rock Recruitment is seeking a Gas Service Engineer for a Social Housing contract in Sandwell. You will carry out domestic gas servicing, boiler maintenance, and safety checks within a localized 10-mile radius with no call-outs and a company van provided.

Role runs Monday to Friday with optional overtime. Requirements include ACS Gas qualifications, 3+ years in a similar role, DBS clearance, and a Full UK driving licence. Local travel only.

Qualifications

• Valid ACS Gas qualifications are required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
• Previous Social Housing experience is preferred.
• Clean DBS is required and a Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out domestic gas servicing and maintenance.
• Complete boiler service: strip, clean, check performance.
• Fit CO2 and fire alarms as part of checks.
• Identify faults and report issues to client.
• Complete paperwork and obtain customer signatures.
• Work independently to a high standard.

We are currently looking for an experienced Gas Service Engineer to work on a Social Housing contract for Sandwell Council.

This is a great opportunity for a qualified Gas Engineer looking for a stable, local role with no call-out work.

The contract covers a small 10-mile radius, keeping travel between jobs to a minimum.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out domestic gas servicing and maintenance
• Complete full strip and clean boiler services
• Fit CO2 and fire alarms
• Identify and report any faults or issues
• Complete paperwork and obtain customer signatures
• Work independently while maintaining a high standard of work

Requirements

• Valid ACS Gas qualifications
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
• Previous Social Housing experience

• Full UK clean manual driving licence
