R9 Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an experienced Service Only Gas Engineer to work on a long-term social housing contract across Manchester and surrounding areas.

This self-employed role offers weekly earnings between £1,100 and £1,400+, with ongoing localised patch coverage and a focus on reliable, customer-focused service for tenants.

Qualifications

• ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1) are required.
• Gas Safe Registration is mandatory.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Own van and calibrated analyser are required.
• Experience in social housing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out domestic gas servicing within occupied social housing properties.
• Complete annual landlord gas safety checks (CP12s).
• Diagnose and report defects identified during servicing.
• Ensure all work complies with current Gas Safe regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service to tenants.
