Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd is seeking an experienced Gas Engineer to work on a social housing contract across the Greater Manchester area. You will carry out CP12 Gas Safety Certificates, service and safety inspections in occupied properties, and ensure compliance with Gas Safe regulations.

The ideal candidate holds Gas Safe Registration and ACS qualifications, has social housing experience, a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Qualifications

• Gas Safe Registration is required.
• ACS Gas Qualifications must be in date.
• Experience working in social housing or domestic properties.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Own vehicle is required.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out CP12 Gas Safety Certificates within occupied social housing properties.
• Conduct gas servicing, safety inspections and compliance checks.
• Diagnose and rectify minor gas-related faults where required.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with Gas Safe regulations.
• Accurately completing certification and job paperwork.

• £28 - £30 per hour CIS
• 6-month contract
• Covering Partington, Oldham, Leigh and Stockport
• Mileage paid at 45p per mile
• Immediate start available

The Role

Requirements

• Valid Gas Safe Registration
• ACS Gas Qualifications (in date)
• Previous experience working within social housing or domestic properties
• Full UK Driving Licence
