Job summary

Derby Homes is seeking a Gas Service Engineer to provide professional gas servicing and repair work from a base at London Road. The role is full-time with 37 hours per week and permanent contract.

The successful candidate will be Gas Safe competent with ACS qualifications for domestic gas work and will deliver high-quality customer service. In addition to technical expertise, the job offers a company vehicle, stock in the van, and local working within Derby boundaries.

Qualifications

• Must be Gas Safe competent.
• ACS qualified to install or work on domestic gas appliances and services, including the appropriate ACS qualifications in domestic gas work.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good IT literacy and comfortable using PDA technology to obtain jobs and order materials.

Derby Homes are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Gas Engineer.

The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of Gas appliances, service and repairs and excellent customer service skills. Must be Gas Safe competent, ACS qualified to install or work on domestic gas appliances and services including the appropriate ACS qualifications in domestic gas work.

The day-to-day duties of the role will include but not be limited to:

• Carrying out annual servicing of Gas appliances.
• Gaining Access to Difficult to Access Properties.
• Carrying breakdowns to all gas appliances to a first fix standard.
• Using PDA technology to obtain jobs and ordering materials through our supply chain.
• Have knowledge and understanding of I.T.
• Good communication skills with other team members.

To help you achieve this you will get a transit style vehicle which can be used to travel to and from your home, this will also be provided full of van stock all YOU need to do is complete our driver assessment.
