Job summary

Derby Homes is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Gas Engineer based at Derby Homes, London Road. The role involves servicing and repairing gas appliances, ensuring gas safety, and delivering excellent customer service.

You will be tested for Gas Safe competence and ACS qualifications for domestic gas work. Day-to-day duties include annual servicing, gaining access to properties, first-fix repairs, and using PDA to manage jobs and materials.

Derby Homes are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Gas Engineer.

The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of Gas appliances, service and repairs and excellent customer service skills.

Must be Gas Safe competent, ACS qualified to install or work on domestic gas appliances and services including the appropriate ACS qualifications in domestic gas work.

The day-to-day duties of the role will include but not be limited to:

• Carrying out annual servicing of Gas appliances.
• Gaining Access to Difficult to Access Properties.
• Carrying breakdowns to all gas appliances to a first fix standard.
• Using PDA technology to obtain jobs and ordering materials through our supply chain.
• Have knowledge and understanding of I.T.
• Good communication skills with other team members.

To help you achieve this you will get a transit style vehicle which can be used to travel to and from your home, this will also be provided full of van stock all YOU need to do is complete our driver assessment.
