Job description

R9 Recruitment is currently working on behalf of a reputable Social Housing Gas Client seeking oneskilled Gas Service and Repair Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will cover the Hertfordshire area, including Letchworth and Central Bedfordshire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct gas servicing and repair work in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• 6-8 jobs per day
• Fault find/ fit parts
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with gas appliances and systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections.
• Deliver high-quality customer service to tenants and clients.

Ideal Candidate:

• Holds relevant gas qualifications.
• HoldsOil (LPG) qualifications (preferred but not essential).
• Clean DBS
• UK Driving License

Benefits:

• Basic salary of £38,000 per annum.
• Overtime available Monday to Friday paid at 1.5x rate.
• Saturday overtime paid at 1.5x rate.
• 32 days of annual leave, including bank holidays.
• Company van and fuel card supplied.
