Job summary

R9 Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer for a permanent PAYE role on a social housing contract across the Newport area. Base salary 40k–43k with realistic earnings 55k+ per year, plus on-call rota.

You will diagnose and repair domestic heating systems, carry out LGSRs, and deliver excellent customer service to tenants while ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in gas service and repair.
• Valid ACS Qualifications (CKR1 & HTR1).
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Clean DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing domestic heating systems.
• Carrying out Landlord Gas Safety Checks (LGSRs).
• Delivering outstanding customer service to tenants.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.

Due to ongoing contract wins, we're looking for an experienced PAYE Domestic Gas Engineer to join a successful team delivering services to a well-established Social Housing contract across the Newport area.
