Job summary

M&Y Maintenance and Construction, part of The Regenda Group, invites applications for a permanent, full-time gas engineer. The role focuses on servicing, repairing and maintaining domestic heating systems to Gas Safe standards, with out-of-hours and call-out duties.

Candidates must have ACS qualifications and at least two years in the trade, plus a Full UK driving licence. The job includes extensive paperwork and direct customer contact.

Qualifications

• ACS qualifications CCN1, HTR1, CKR1 and CENWAT.
• Recognised qualification such as NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair and maintain domestic heating systems to specifications, Gas Safe regulations and health and safety procedures.
• Complete all relevant documentation.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service and ensure customer safety and satisfaction.
• Take part in out-of-hours work and call-out services.
• Report accidents, near misses and potential hazards.
• Undertake a range of additional maintenance tasks within the scope of the role.
• Work flexibly and professionally with a diverse range of customers, following operational procedures and safe working practices.
