Job summary

HomeServe is seeking a Gas Repair Engineer in Blackpool to diagnose and repair gas appliances and heating systems in customers’ homes. You’ll perform boiler services, safety checks, and manage jobs with autonomy while delivering excellent customer service.

This field-based role includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays, averaging 40 hours per week with annualised hours and full training support from Day 1.

Qualifications

Experience repairing gas appliances and central heating systems.
Full UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points).
Ability to work independently and solve problems on site.
A positive, proactive approach to your work.

Responsibilities

Diagnosing faults on boilers and central heating systems.
Carrying out repairs to restore heating and hot water.
Carrying out boiler services.
Completing safety checks and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Managing jobs independently while delivering excellent customer service.
Representing HomeServe in customers’ homes with professionalism and care.
