Job summary

BOC Limited, a Linde company, is seeking a Gas Quality Engineer to perform performance evaluations on gas chromatographs and calibrate gas quality instrumentation on client sites across the UK, offshore and internationally.

You will analyse data to produce high-quality reports ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and prepare reference gas mixtures for performance evaluations. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• GCSEs and/or A-levels in Mathematics and Science.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including offshore and international assignments.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out performance evaluations on gas chromatographs and calibrations/validations of gas quality instrumentation on customer sites across the UK, offshore, and internationally.
• Analyse collected data to produce high-quality reports ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Prepare reference gas mixtures for performance evaluations and verify contents per accredited procedures.
• Assist and coordinate with Sales, Logistics and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery to customers.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper use of databases and documentation systems according to the quality system.
