Job summary

Yorkshire Housing is seeking a skilled Gas Engineer to join our Gas Team in Doncaster, with occasional support across Yorkshire. You’ll perform annual gas services, safety checks and boiler repairs in homes, upholding regulations and our policies, while providing a friendly, professional service.

We offer £42,000 per year for a 37.5-hour week, 26 days’ leave rising to 31 with service plus bank holidays, a pension, health support, Perkbox discounts, and a company van with tools and PPE.

Qualifications

• At least two years’ experience servicing and maintaining domestic heating systems.
• ACS Certificates: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1 & CKR1 (or equivalent)
• Confidence working independently and solving problems.

• Carry out annual gas services, safety checks and boiler repairs and maintenance across homes.
• Collaborate with the compliance team to ensure safety and high standards.
• Aim to resolve issues on the first visit where possible.

In this role, you’ll carry out annual gas services, safety checks, and boiler repairs and maintenance across our homes, following all the relevant regulations and Yorkshire Housing policies. You’ll be the friendly face our customers see, so great communication and a warm, professional approach are key. We aim to resolve issues on the first visit wherever possible, and you’ll work closely with our compliance team to make sure everything’s done safely and to a high standard.

We’re looking for someone who has:
