Job summary

Liberty Group is seeking a skilled Gas Install Engineer in Birmingham to carry out boiler and central heating installations, replacements, and related works in residential properties. You will ensure regulatory compliance, provide high workmanship and customer service, and work with a supportive team.

The role offers a steady pipeline of local work with an autonomous schedule, on-site duties, and opportunities for training and progression. There is also an out-of-hours rota with standby payments.

Qualifications

• ACS qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 and HTR1.
• Experience carrying out domestic gas boiler and heating system installations.
• Sound understanding of gas safety regulations and industry best practice.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Full UK driving licence.

Gas Install Engineer – Birmingham

Base salary of £37,481.00 | Realistic OTE up to £50,000+ per annum | Company Van & Fuel Card Provided

What the role looks like day to day

As a Gas Install Engineer, you'll be responsible for carrying out:

• Domestic gas boiler replacements and upgrades
• Full central heating system installations
• First and second fix installation works
• System commissioning and handovers
• Pipework alterations and heating system improvements
• Ensuring all installation work meets current Gas Safe and regulatory requirements

You’ll work safely, professionally and efficiently, delivering high standards of workmanship and excellent customer service in occupied homes and residential properties throughout Birmingham and the surrounding region.

The work is steady and varied, giving you the autonomy to plan your day, manage your workload and take pride in completing installations to a high standard.

You’ll also participate in our out-of-hours rota, with additional standby and call-out payments available on top of your base salary.
