Job summary

Sureserve is hiring a Heating Engineer to service and repair domestic heating and hot water systems across our client properties. You will ensure safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction while working within a friendly team.

The role requires CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 gas qualifications, and availability for occasional evening/weekend shifts. A positive, professional approach and compliance with checks are essential.

Qualifications

• Gas qualifications are essential, including CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1.
• Out of Hours cover on a rota with evenings and weekends is required.
• Criminal and reference checks will be carried out before start.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service and maintenance on domestic heating and hot water systems.
• Maintain safe, efficient operation of heating systems and promptly complete repairs.
• Communicate progress and keep accurate paperwork (electronic and hard copy).
• Adhere to Health & Safety regs, risk assessments, safe systems of work, and COSHH records.
• Assist with stock ordering and ensure parts are available for jobs.
