Job summary

Sureserve is seeking an experienced Gas Engineer to join our busy team to service and repair domestic heating and hot water systems across the region. You will carry out maintenance, ensure safe operation, and complete paperwork accurately while meeting quality standards and customer expectations.

The role includes an out-of-hours rota, a company vehicle and fuel card, and support for professional qualifications within a friendly, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Gas qualifications are required (CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1).
• Out-of-hours rota on some evenings and weekends is required.
• Friendly and professional attitude to build relationships with clients and tenants.
• Criminal and reference checks are required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service and maintenance works on domestic heating and hot water systems.
• Ensure high levels of customer care in dealing with clients and tenants to meet quality standards.
• Communicate updates and progress of work; complete paperwork electronically and manually.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety requirements, risk assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH records.
• Assist with stock ordering and auditing so relevant parts are available for jobs.
