Job summary

Sureserve Compliance Central is seeking an experienced gas heating engineer to service and repair domestic heating and hot water systems across the East of England and Midlands for our clients. You will ensure efficient and safe operation of heating systems with a focus on customer satisfaction.

The role requires gas qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1) and a professional, customer‑focused approach. A company vehicle, benefits, and qualification support are provided.

Qualifications

• Gas qualifications including CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1 and CKR1 are essential.
• Strong customer care and communication skills are needed to work with clients and tenants.
• Commitment to health and safety requirements and COSHH/risks assessments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service and maintenance works on domestic heating systems across the region.
• Ensure high levels of customer care and meet quality standards.
• Communicate progress and complete paperwork electronically and manually.
• Adhere to health and safety requirements and legislation on site.
• Manage stock ordering and auditing to ensure necessary parts are available.
