Job Description:

We have an opportunity for a Gas Field Service Engineer to join us at Honeywell, in the UK, where you will be responsible for working on the maintenance of predominantly Bio-Gas Grid Entry Units at our client sites, servicing, planned preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting/investigating customer issues.

Key responsibilities:

1. Manage the annual servicing of the facility, including condition-based servicing & Planned Preventative Maintenance, and submit full reports of the job.
2. Test the Grid Entry Unit to ensure safety and proper functioning before signing off; provide hands-on training and knowledge transfer to new users/operators.
3. Investigate issues to identify faults and perform system analysis; carry out replacements as needed.
4. Engage with clients to understand issues, make observations, suggest improvements, and provide recommendations.
5. Support customers remotely as part of an on-call rota.

Key skills and qualifications:

1. Experience in industrial servicing or control systems.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
4. Gas industry experience or HND/HNC qualifications; experience in the Biogas/Biomethane industries is advantageous.
5. Team player with a willingness to learn.
