Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Gas Field Service Engineer to join us at Honeywell in the UK. You will be responsible for working on the maintenance of predominantly Bio-Gas Grid Entry Units at our client sites, including servicing, planned preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and investigating customer issues.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage the annual servicing of the facility, including condition-based servicing and Planned Preventative Maintenance, and submit comprehensive reports.
2. Test the Grid Entry Units to ensure safety and proper functioning before sign-off; provide hands-on training and knowledge transfer to new users/operators.
3. Investigate faults and system issues; carry out necessary replacements.
4. Engage with clients to understand issues, observe, and suggest improvements and recommendations.
5. Provide remote support to meet customer needs as part of an on-call rota.

Key Skills and Qualifications

1. Experience in industrial servicing or control systems.
2. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills with high attention to detail.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
4. Gas industry experience or HND/HNC qualifications; experience in the Biogas/Biomethane industries is advantageous.
5. Team player with a willingness to learn.
