Gas Field Service Engineer - Honeywell UK

We have an opportunity for a Gas Field Service Engineer to join us at Honeywell in the UK. You will be responsible for maintaining predominantly Bio-Gas Grid Entry Units at our client sites, including servicing, planned preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting/customer issue investigation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage annual servicing of the facility, including condition-based servicing and Planned Preventative Maintenance; submit comprehensive reports.
2. Test Grid Entry Units to ensure safety and proper operation before sign-off; provide hands-on training and knowledge transfer to new users/operators.
3. Investigate faults, perform system analysis, and carry out replacements as needed.
4. Engage with clients to understand issues, observe, suggest improvements, and make recommendations.
5. Support customers remotely as part of an on-call rota to meet their needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

1. Experience in industrial servicing or control systems.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
4. Gas industry experience or HND/HNC qualifications; experience in the Biogas/Biomethane industries is advantageous.
5. Team player with a willingness to learn.
