Job summary

Network Plus is seeking a Purge and Relight Gas Supervisor to support the Cadent CMO on the Mains Replacement Contract across the North West. You will work with a regional team of engineers, ensuring safety as a top priority, and a full UK driving license is essential.

As part of Cadent CMO, you will perform gas safety checks, on-site inspections, and data recording, plan workloads and stock, and deputise for the service delivery manager when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Gas Engineer with good IT skills.
• Apprenticeship or equivalent with recognised certification.
• CMET 1 & CMET 2, MET4, REG1 & REG 2.
• CODNCO1, TPCP1, CCN1, CESP1, CMA1 or equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Inspect pipework alterations for meter relocations within client SLAs.
• Carry out gas safety checks and visual inspections of all appliances and data.
• Engineer solutions on site with focus on first time fix.
• Understand workload planning and appointment booking with customers.
• Ensure accurate data is returned from every job and shared with departments.
• Manage stock planning to ensure availability of equipment.
• Deputise for service delivery manager when required.
• Attend to customer complaints and ensure suitable resolutions.
• Maintain commercial awareness and a professional mobile engineering approach.
• Deliver a first-class service with autonomy and professionalism.
