Job summary

JLL is seeking a Gas Engineering Supervisor for mobile operations in London. You will lead a team of gas engineers across landmark sites, ensuring high standards of safety, diagnostics and customer service while maintaining regulatory compliance.

You will drive technical excellence, mentor engineers, and coordinate with clients and facilities teams to manage complex gas systems and plant rooms.

Qualifications

• Gas Safe registration with full commercial and domestic tickets (CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, COCN1, CODNCO1, ICPN1, CORT1, CDGA1, CIGA1, TPCP1A)
• Minimum 5 years' commercial gas engineering experience
• Ability to lead, mentor and develop engineers
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong knowledge of commercial plant rooms, boilers and heating systems

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of gas engineers across multiple London sites
• Provide technical mentorship and safety briefings
• Ensure 100% compliance with Gas Safety Regulations and maintain inspections/certifications
• Coordinate maintenance with clients and building managers to minimise disruption
• Lead emergency gas response and decision-making under pressure

You're building capability, not just managing schedules.Technical excellence: Hands-on advanced diagnostics, complex repairs, and installations on commercial heating systems, boilers, and plant room equipment. You'll ensure 100% compliance with Gas Safety Regulations, oversee inspections and certification, and manage compliance tracking through SharePoint systems.Stakeholder management: Building strong relationships with clients, building managers, and specialist contractors. You'll coordinate maintenance to minimize disruption, attend monthly Gas forums, and represent engineering excellence at every level.Emergency leadership: Taking control when it matters most. Leading rapid response teams during emergency gas situations, making critical decisions under pressure, and ensuring safe, effective resolution every time.Auditing and improvement: Conducting technical audits, investigating incidents, and implementing lessons learned.
