Job summary

JLL is seeking a Mobile Gas Engineer to cover a portfolio of commercial properties across London, handling reactive maintenance and planned preventive maintenance on gas heating systems, boilers, and appliances.

You will diagnose faults, perform installations and commissioning, and conduct gas safety checks with meticulous records. The role requires Gas Safe registration, commercial experience, and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Gas Safe registration with commercial qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, CORT1, ICPN1, TPCP1A (minimum).
• Proven commercial gas engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Cover a portfolio of commercial properties across London, handling reactive maintenance callouts and planned preventative maintenance on gas heating systems, boilers, and appliances.
• Fault diagnosis and repair to minimize client downtime; installation and commissioning of commercial gas systems; conduct gas safety checks with accurate record-keeping.
• Carry out PPM in accordance with manufacturer specifications and statutory requirements; complete risk assessments and method statements; maintain vehicle and equipment to high standards.
• Work independently across multiple sites, making professional decisions and representing engineering excellence to occupants and clients.
• Provide excellent customer service and use mobile technology for job management; participate in on-call rota as required.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards and maintain accurate documentation.
