Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform planned and reactive maintenance in a commercial environment in the Greater London area.

You will produce technical reports, utilise CAFM systems, and coordinate with sub-contractors while upholding safety and quality standards. The role requires clear communication and the ability to deliver accurate quotations for additional works.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a commercial environment.
  • Electrical or mechanical apprenticeship/NVQ/C&G required.
  • 18th Edition IEE wiring and installation (able to attain if currently holding 17th Edition).
  • Knowledge of air conditioning, ventilation, plumbing and general fabric maintenance.
  • Strong communication and report-writing skills; IT proficient.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance in line with PPM schedules.
  • Produce technical and situational reports as required.
  • Utilise CAFM system for job logging and reporting.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and on-site teams; escalate major issues promptly.
  • Attend team meetings and support management with accurate quotations for additional works.
  • Ensure health, safety, quality and environmental standards are met on site.
